Systems Thinking Projects

Welcome to this section featuring projects participated in by STVIC registrants.  While the majority of this project work is financially compensated, there is also voluntary work being performed by professionals in many fields with systems thinking education (whether organized or through self-directed study) aiming to build capacity in the systems thinking discipline. The Project Summary includes basic information such as project topic, when and where the project was organized, and the activities carried out by the registrant. If registrants wish, they can share their deeper dive project experience by sending an Extended Project Submission at the same time or anytime after their Project Summary Questionnaire has been submitted. Registrants may submit up to three projects each year whether summaries alone or with extended submissions. Find more information about both types of projects submissions in Sign Up These are the stories told by people who are on the ground turning the systems thinking approach into professional reality!

Taxonomies

In the following sections you can view all projects headquartered in the same country or all projects in the same educational subject or field of application. You can also search for an individual project by entering your own terms in Search Projects.

Country of Project Headquarters

The main country in which the project is organized or has its central office. Projects that are multinationally organized are listed as Multinational.

Educational Subjects and Fields of Application

Because systems thinking is inherently cross disciplinary it is impossible to develop a complete list of its domain educational subjects and fields of application. The registrant has made one selection from the list below that is the primary topic domain of the project in which they are using systems thinking skills. Note that the project domain may differ from the Personal Bio domains chosen by the registrant illustrating the versatility of general systems thinking skills.
